Safety First.

To guard against injury, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following: Read and follow all instructions, notices and warnings on this website. Check this website for any updates, questions or concerns. Any questions or concerns not answered on the website should immediately be emailed to tim@thestAIRilizer.com. Until your questions and concerns are addressed turn the StAIRilizer® off and unplug it.

  • Avoid exposure to direct or reflected germicidal ultraviolet rays. Germicidal ultraviolet rays are harmful to the eyes and skin.

  • Do not touch the glass portion of the UVC light with bare hands. Instead use a lint free rag or paper towel to touch the bulb when needed.

  • All StAIRilizer devises are intended for indoor use only.

  • Do not alter the design or construction of the StAIRilizer box or any of its components.

  • Only use the StAIRilizer for its intended purpose, DO NOT place objects in the dosing chamber to disinfect them.

  • Do not place StAIRilizer around any source of moisture or condensation, such as humidifiers, in bathrooms, etc.

  • To work properly the power cord must be plugged into a grounded 110/115 volts (standard household current) power outlet.

  • The Wi-Fi switch will not connect if the StAIRilizer is not plugged into a three prong outlet that is grounded. You can manually turn the StAIRilizer on and off with the switch if it is not grounded.

  • Do not operate the StAIRilizer if there is visible or suspected damage or, if applicable, there is damage to the power cord and/or plug.

  • Do not override the safety switch that shuts the StAIRilizer off when the lid is opened.

  • Keep intake and exhaust sides clean and clear of debris or any object that can inhibit airflow. The exhaust side of the StAIRilizer needs to have clear and open airflow to help the StAIRilizer work best.

  • Do not operate without the top securely closed on the unit.

  • Stay clear of the fan, or other electrical parts that can cause injuries.

  • Always disconnect power to the unit before performing any service or maintenance.
